On Saturday morning, hostilities re-commenced in Gaza as soon as the one-week-long truce reached its termination date. In a matter of minutes, health officials in the Palestinian territory reported the first fatalities.
The first 90 minutes after truce end at 0500 GMT was captured by an AFPTV live camera showing a dense cloud of grey smoke covering up in some areas northern Gaza along with apparent sounds of automatic weapons fire and explosions in the area.
The military of Israel’s confirmed fighter jets targeting Hamas in Gaza. Journalists from AFP also mentioned that airstrikes occurred in the north and south areas. Marwan al-Hams says that the director of Al-Najar hospital in Rafah noted the death of at least nine civilians including four children as a result of these assaults.

Dr. Fadel Naim of Alahi hospital said two kids died after air strikes within Gaze city. The fighter group within Hamas announced that they had resumed warfare against Israel citing attacks on southern Gaza, which led to heavy clashes in some suburbs of Gaza city.
