It was a narrowed field consisting of only four participants namely, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie and Vivek Ramaswamy. The event was hosted by NewsNation with Megyn Kelly, Elizabeth Vargas, and Eliana Johnson serving as moderators with Ramaswamy taking up the challengers’ role against Haley regarding her knowledge of Ukraine.
In his discussion about the conflict with Russia, Ramaswamy requested Haley to list at least three provinces in the east of Ukraine. Interestingly, a former US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, was not able to name any single province of this country. This was done with a camera focusing on Haley’s impersonal face while exchanging words.
“Look at that,” exclaimed Ramaswamy. This, I want people to comprehend. In the first place, she doesn’t even know where they are but wants us to take our soldiers and their equipment to fight it out with them? Look at the blank expression. “He continued, ‘She doesn’t know which provinces she want to fight for′. “.

He distinguished between foreign policy experience and foreign policy wisdom saying these terms are not the same thing. Joe Biden had already said that he cannot mention three states in the Eastern part of Ukraine, where U.S. soldiers should defend.
Later, he commented on his Twitter page (“X” in the statement) “I made a little wager for @NikkiHaley could not even cite three regions of Eastern Ukraine she wanted to send America’s soldiers to do die”. Luckily it was correct.
Despite the initial difficulty, Nikki Haley eventually answered Vivek Ramaswamy’s question by naming the three provinces as “Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea” (note: Following the annexation of Crimea back in 2014, it is no more a part of Ukraine.
After this Ramaswamy heavily assaulted Haley calling her fascist and questioning her sanity. However, when she had the chance to retaliate, she declined saying,” it’s not worthwhile my time to reply for him”.
Despite a recent attack by Vijay Ramaswamy, Governor Chris Christie who has known Nikki for about 12 years stood in defense of his colleague. “You are talking about a smart, successful woman, Ramaswamy,” said Christie, pointing directly at him while making the remark. As the main elections were nearing up, the 4 candidates strove to outshine each other in the course, and no one was able to occupy leading position.”
