The former Republican vice president, Dick Cheney, whose joint oversight committee investigated the January 6^{th} assault on the Capitol, disclosed in recent interviews that she is contemplating seeking the Oval Office through an independent conservative ticket or as part of a bipartisan team constitut The former vice president of the US cited Trump as an enemy of democracy in America who presents an existential danger to the country and called for a candidate with the guts to deal and fight off these threats.

Cheney reiterated similar sentiments in interviews with USA Today and MSNBC, coinciding with the release of her memoir, “Oath and Honor: “A Memoir and a Warning”, tomorrow. She has so far been silent about her candidature for the post presidency. Although Cheney has been through many political challenges, she has maintained strong links in the Republican part and therefore raised a massive amount of money from a national network of donors.
Though there is at least four state cases as well as federal case against him about his role on election of 2020, Donald Trump still remains No 1 candidate in Republican party in 2024 elections.
