Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant said the war with Hamas in Gaza will end when Israel has achieved his aims. He, however, spoke specifically with regard to the Hamas’ Jabaliya and Shejaiya battalions located near northern Gaza Strip which he said were almost done away with. Gallant stressed that the war length is dependent on achieving objectives and pledged their collaboration with the USA mission.r
According to the Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, more military pressure exerted on Hamas can provide better opportunities for hostage swaps. He observed how the more aggressive Israel becomes in her military operations, the more there may be some further proposals of the kind regarding hostage taking, and these would still be taken into account.
Gallant mentioned that Hamas operatives had surrounded the last stronghold in places such as Jabaliya and Shejjaia, saying that Hamas’ operatives had surrendered hundreds over the previous few days which is a significant development for the terror group.
He remarked that the impregnable fortresses are about to be taken apart. Accordingly, Gallant said that those who render would be granted mercy while there are civilians held under arrest involved in bombing Israel on 07 october providing important data.

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant delivered a warning to Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, stating that the fate of any senior commander in Hamas, including Sinwar, is the same: surrender or face death. As reported by The Times of Israel, Gallant reiterated his stance that there exists no middle ground.
On the other hand, the IDF and Shin Bet arrested more than 500 terror operatives in Gaza during last month. These people were picked up by the security division of IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate or unit 504 for interrogation purposes.
According to the joint statement, over 140 such operatives have been detained since the cessation of hostilities on December 1st. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that some of them were captured in IDF operations in Gaza strip while other presented themselves freely to field interrogator teams.
As per The Times of Israel, IDF reported that some of these operatives were found out while hiding inside the schools and shelter buildings designated for the civilians.
The IDF earlier today also disclosed that additional seven dead Israeli soldier push the toll among the troops killed by Israel’s strike mission against Hamas into hundred and four. To be more specific, six of those soldiers died of bullet wounds suffered in a fight that took place in southern Gaza strip yesterday.
